Five Top Fives: 5 Top Twitter Tips

In the second of my Five Top Fives from this year’s posts, here are my top 5 tips for using Twitter:

1. Fab Twitter Guide

Jack Ashman’s Twitter guide is a great piece of work and goes a long way to demystify the dark art of tweeting. Read the post here.

2. Twitter Followers Explained

This post cites two really interesting articles, one by Bryony Taylor and the other by Dan Leahul, which make you think about our usual quest for Twitter followers and some ideas on how you can maximise your reach on this microblogging platform. Interesting stuff, and the article is here.

3. Building your Twitter Strategy

Way back in March I posted about a great article by Pam Moore in which she brought together 17 (read them, 17!) tips for putting together a strategy for using your Twitter account. Here’s the link.

4. Searching on Twitter

If you need to search the tweetosphere then this article by Neal Shaffer is for you – read about the article and get the link from this post.

5. A Whole Bundle of Twitter Links

And finally, if you haven’t had enough tweet-related info for one morning, then check out this post from August which has a whole heap of Twitter tips, links and guides. Here you go.
